Transformational Tip- Are You Self-Judging Your Content?

“Make your life a masterpiece. Imagine no limitations on what you can be, do, or have.”

—Brian Tracy

Have you ever done something either personally or for your business, and you ended up judging it and bringing the energy down? Did you know you can crush an idea with your mind?

May seem odd to some of you, but some of you may be taking a moment to ponder this and some of you may be shaking your heads, “Yes! I get it!”

I wrote about this energetic concept in Life & Love Lessons- How to Discover Confidence Through Your Spiritual Journey.

I had just started my coaching business and was so proud and excited! I picked the name of my podcast and website to be Good Karma Success Coach based off our successful small business, Good Karma Sportfishing.

I then chose my website and brand colors, raspberry and orange, because they are happy, feel-good colors. I love those colors and they relate to the fact we now live in The Florida Keys, which is a colorful and fun place to live.

Shortly after launching my brand, I joined a high ticket, very masculine 3D energy speaking course. It was a six-month intensive program. The course consumed me. The coach, not realizing this, made me feel bad about my brand. He made me feel small and that my brand wasn’t professional.

What happened after that? Everything piece of content I did, I judged. Harshly. Bringing down the energy of the posts and podcasts. I would listen and say to myself, “I sound so stupid.”

I listened to this coach vs. listening to me. I didn’t listen to myself, what made me happy, and how I wanted to share. I limited myself based on someone else’s opinion who is not like me, nor my audience.

It took over a year and a lot of mental work to move past this challenge. But now that story can help others hence why I am sharing it.

So, my transformational tip this week is this one thing:

Listen to how you feel and not what others say or tell you what you should or shouldn’t be doing.

Create your own masterpiece.
