Human Design Is Not a Box- Understanding Your Natural Operating Style

The biggest mistake people make with Human Design, is that they view it as a box, not a baseline.

It’s about understanding the difference between what comes naturally and what needs more energy.

Your Human Design chart doesn’t limit you, but the story and identity you attach to it can. The goal isn’t to fit your chart; it’s to understand yourself more fully.

Hence, why a lot of people don’t like Human Design and it can get a bad rap.

I have been a “student of Human Design” since November 2020. I wrote about Human Design in my best-selling book Life and Love Lessons— How to Discover Confidence Through Your Spiritual Journey 2021. Why do I love Human Design? Because as a Generator, when I started to learn about myself, my energy, and how I best operate— I stopped doubting myself.

Seeing beyond the energy type question into identity attachment and ego.

I also share what my friend called to ask me about and how that ties into energy type expansion (Generator and Manifestor) vs. being in a box, but also identity. Understanding Cognitive Dissonance (Leon Festinger 1957) in terms of identity is a piece of this equation.

In 2023, I worked with a local business team of five managers and hosted Human Design Workshops along with individual 1:1 readings/sessions. It was an incredible experience not only of the team members learning about themselves but also how to best work together and structure their daily activities.
